LiteBlue Employee Login Requirements
Understand what USPS employees need before accessing LiteBlue, including Employee ID, SSP password, and account security setup.

Who Can Use LiteBlue?
LiteBlue is intended for authorized USPS employees and other eligible users with valid credentials. Most employees use an 8-digit Employee Identification Number and a Self-Service Password to begin access.
Contractors, former employees, and affiliated users may have different access rules depending on role and USPS authorization.
Employee ID and SSP Password
Your Employee ID is commonly found on USPS employment documents or pay-related materials. Your SSP password is the password created through the Self-Service Profile system. Keep both private and do not share them with coworkers, family, or unofficial support pages.
If you forget your password, use the official recovery process rather than guessing repeatedly, because repeated incorrect attempts may lock the account.
Safe Access Checklist
Use a trusted device, update your browser, confirm the official web address, avoid public Wi-Fi, and sign out fully when finished. These simple habits reduce the chance of account misuse.
